Bella+Day take on the Outdoor.

A few weeks ago, Bethany and I left a meeting and headed into the woods.

We took on a hiking adventure at South Chagrin Reservation and man, do I love our Metroparks!

I hope you also have a chance to get out into our wonderlands and agree with me that….

One thing you can say about Cleveland and its surrounding areas is that it is beautiful. Its topography changes and flows in a manner that is magical! Our lakes, rivers, and our streams created a home for first Native Indians and later, commerce and industry. So many of those areas are now preserved; welcome us in and surround our neighborhoods. Here we are encompassed by forests and hills that stand upon bedrock and soils that lend to create waterfalls and habitats for all sorts of creatures. I feel so honored and blessed to live in a city that takes such pride in our parks.

I put this together as not only did we see some beauty, we had a bit of fun. Hope you enjoy!

A little further on our walk, I spotted something I have not seen since I was a little girl. Something my parents showed me on one of our many family hikes.

The Spotted Touch Me Not or Jewel Weed plant.

If you know about them-you know how cool they are. If not-scroll on and see the magic!

Whatever brings you to our parks, I hope you have some fun!

…. and of course-Bethany and I are hoping these lovely couples are still together! #ADandARforever

If you live in the area and don’t head out, please reconsider!

….and have an adventure!
