The tale of 2 cities..

I want to start with this blog by saying how much I love Cleveland. How excited I get when someone asks me real estate questions about the city, what is going on, what is being developed, where things are changing, and all other things real estate. I study these things. Go to meetings. Watch. Listen. My heart is for Cleveland to grow and become more and more of what I see of it and its people. I LOVE being part of that.

As most people know-around 2.5 years ago-I started to spend time in Nashville. First I was for my best friend and her amazing family. ..and a part of it was a boy. She has since moved away and the boy is no longer a thing… and well, I had already fallen in love with so much of what truly Nashville is. Since this letter is really more to Clevelanders-I will tell you what Nashville is more than the honky-tonks. It is a truly vibrant city that is full of … kindness, heart, giving, church, music… and so much more.

I just love my job and want to do more and more. Hiring Bethany gave me a little space to develop and plan our next steps, and boy am I excited. We are growing! We are evolving. I am so thrilled! We have a new team member starting soon who is going to blow your socks off. Our Cleveland team not only LOVES Cleveland, but we also LOVE giving back and have a heart. Truly. We care. I honestly believe that is the reason this has happened. And I am so excited for our future.

So back to Nashville. I have been torn. What would it mean to really launch in Nashville? I was so busy thinking about what others would think or if anyone would even want to work with someone who has clients and knowledge in both cities. I was consumed with those thoughts. Would it be helpful? or be a hindrance? Would people not see me as holding the same value as their previous realtor? My dilemma was to NEVER let Cleveland and my business there be a thing of the past, and I kept realizing some truths.

  • I am good at my job.

  • I love my clients and pride myself on my knowledge and abilities.

  • I know is my heart is really only here to grow and give and help.

THOSE are the things that make me wake in the morning and keep me focused throughout my day.

Covid has shown us that we do not need to BE in each meeting.

We don’t need to BE in the office.

We can do things digitally and it doesn’t mean the work suffers.

I see agents who have staff who just show homes in their regard. I can not do that personally.

I pledged, long ago, to be at every showing digitally (if not in person) for every one of my clients.*

So here I am. Officially launching our Nashville team!

As I share and launch the new things happening, the new people join, I will say I am beyond proud.

Bethany and I have trained, practiced, and work daily to perfect our process and craft.

I am excited for each of you to see how different we have become and how we work together as a team.

So as you hear more about Nashville in the next few weeks, know nothing is changing, we are just growing!

*barring an emergency or if client timing cannot fit into my schedule.
