Hope.

There is something special about Cleveland (Northeast Ohio) in the spring. Those of us who have lived here for a large portion of our lives can attest. The birds and the lake become alive in a way that you feel in your soul. This year holds so much more for us than the past as we envision life outside the pandemic. I have heard of tears falling in happiness as people are getting vaccinated and looking towards a future most of us felt uncertain for a long time.

As we begin to feel that ever so slight amount of HOPE, I am hard-pressed to ignore that many of us have changed. Many have dealt with experiences and emotions that still haunt. Most of us have evaluated life differently or even feel a little lost. Let me say, you are not alone.

For me:

As a single person, this pandemic has allowed for more loneliness than I thought I was capable of experiencing. I know others have felt the same. As things change and we begin to try and get back the things we felt as our normal life, I will say this…

This blog is to let you know that if you need to talk or, heck, I am showing you a house and you feel overwhelmed, let me know. I am happy to suggest some places and things where I have found solace and grounding. We can’t ignore what we have and are going through. Let’s heal together.
